DIAGNOSTIC CHECK & EMI LIGHTS
Since the early 1980’s most vehicles have been fitted with an engine management system. When you see a EMI (engine management light) illuminate on the dashboard, this indicates to the driver that a fault has developed within the engine management system. This produces one or more fault codes that are stored in the ECU (electronic control unit).
All modern vehicles have a OBD diagnostic socket so when using the correct diagnostic equipment the fault codes can be read, this will allow our technician to read, diagnose and advise you the customer what the fault stored in the ECU could be.
Cam Autos have invested thousands on pounds on state of the art diagnostic equipment from Bosch, Auto logic, Autel, Launch, Citroen Lexia, and Peugeot Planet. All this equipment is necessary to work through a vehicle’s complex electronic system.
The cost to carry out a full diagnostic check on your vehicle is
£49.20 inclusive of VAT
